Places - ESO VLT Paranal, Chile

While at the VLT site, we stayed at the Residencia - the ESO dormitory-complex "hotel" were everyone on the site stays. It is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. The complex has all the facilities that you would need, including a cafeteria and library. We were taken on tours and visited many of the engineers that take care of the telescopes and take care of the logistics and infrastructure. Pictures of the actual telescopes and other parts of the facilities are not shown.
